Family Camp

Family Camp

Family Camp June 27-July 3,2010

Our Program

Whether a family, single parent, couple, or senior, the Family Camp has something special for you. It is carefully planned to provide a balance of relevant Christian teaching with plenty of recreational opportunities for all ages.

For the Adults

Inspiration. Recreation. Our relaxed schedule provides for twice daily opportunities for Christian teaching and music, as well as options like concerts, talent nights, campfires, and worship together.

For the kids Family

Quality. Educational. Fun. These three words most aptly describe our kids’ programs! Adults can relax knowing the kids are having a great time and learning about Christ with our program staff. Age-graded programs occur during times that adults are in meetings, and baby sitting is provided. Additional afternoon and evening baby-sitting can be arranged to allow adults some special time together.

Sack lunches are available for longer options.Daily choices: camp crafts, volley ball, nearby golf, shopping in Leavenworth, hikes, canoeing on the White River, rock climbing, peak climb, Bike rides, rock wall and ropes course, horse rides, and much more.

Tuesday Concert

LA Collaboration

We are very blessed this year to have the Los Angeles Collaboration play a concert on Tuesday night of Family Camp. The Los Angeles Collaboration strives to inspire and educate audiences with distinctive programs of original arrangements and classical music. They seek to incorporate their faith in God and their classical training into the music they bring to churches, schools and concert halls.

The Los Angeles Collaboration was formed by pianist Duane Funderburk and violinist Alex Russell in 2000. They give approximately 50 performances annually, both in duo recitals and as soloists with orchestra. Their music spans a wide spectrum of styles, including classical, sacred, jazz, Broadway and other American music repertoire. Most distinctive about their performances is the presentation of their original arrangements and orchestrations. Find more information about them at: www.lacollaboration.com.
