Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf where there is hatred. Proverbs 15:17

Repast – from old French and Latin, meaning a meal; food comprising a meal; food.
Join us at TTR for a retreat focusing on nourishment of body and soul. For three nights and three days take time to feed your spirit, intellect and stomach. We will learn classic techniques and recipes to make feeding your loved ones easier and more fun. We will also learn some new recipes. We will learn to incorporate our faith into our kitchens, and welcome all to our tables.
Come join with other folks and develop your skills and interest in culinary delights.
Program
"The Ancient Flavors and Gracious Hospitality of the Middle East"
Join us at Tall Timber Ranch and explore the tastes of the Silk Route, Mesopotamia and the Garden of Eden. While the flavors of the Middle East are ancient, they are also very "hot" in modern cuisine. Come add a new (to us!) flavor profile to your
culinary repertoire.
Leadership
Victoria ‘s kitchen philosophy is that homemade is best, and it can actually be easy, economic and fun. She also teaches the best food, is made great because of the ingredients. During our time together we will meet local food growers and purveyors, use local seasonal ingredients, and learn the joys of easy quick meals and the secrets of simple slow long cooking meals that make the most of affordable ingredients. From bread baking to scrumptious desserts, breakfast through dinner, you will delight in the information and recipes presented on retreat at TTR.
Our time together won’t be just about food though! We will also have great worship and music.
